Subhash Chandra ji was born in a Bengali family of Cuttack, Orissa, he had 7 brothers and 6 sisters. He was the 9th child of his parents, Netaji was close with his brother Sharadchandra.
His father Jankinath was a famous and successful lawyer from Cuttack who was given the title of Rai Bahadur. Netaji was very interested in studies from childhood, he was very hardworking and dear to his teacher.
But Netaji was never interested in sports. Netaji had completed his education from Cuttack himself.
After this he went to Calcutta for further studies where he did a BA in Philosophy from Presidency College.
In this college, the leader strongly opposed the persecution of Indians by an English professor, at that time the question of casteism was raised a lot.
This was the first time the war against the British began in the leader’s mind.
